Eva's guide to Friendship

Ello all, I've been hiding from blogging since my DAD went online and read my blog and gave me a lecture about it. Anyhow, my blogging cells are bubbling up so here's something for you reader. First of all, this is supposed to be an open journal of mine. By "journal" I mean diary, as in PERSONAL diary. It is written to express myself simply because I am a super genius and things that runs in my head can kill me if I don't output it right. And don't judge me on stuff I write or say or post, because, YOU AREN'T SUPPOSED TO BE READING THIS ANYWAY, BUSYBODIES.

See? Get what I mean when I say things in my brain can kill me. Healthy output blogging is.
..........................................................................................................................................

Tadaa. After my fair share of bad friendship with people with personality that would stink the whole Penang Island if personality have a smell, I decided to write this blog. It is neither scientifically proved, advised by professionals, shown in certified reports nor biblical. Follow it if you want but I am not responsible for the outcome and you may clap, scream, yell, laugh, curse happily if you think any of these hit the spot. Thank you.

Tips on people stuff.

#1
Acknowledge that you do not need friends, and you are comfortable being alone and most importantly, being yourself. Life is beautiful as it is and friends (good ones) only here to compliment it. You will not die or in anyway suffer misery if you are lack of them.

#2
Make more acquaintances as friends comes from acquaintances. Knowing more people means you have more prospects for friends. Give yourself time to know them and stop at the level of acquaintance if you ever find them as unsuitable friends material.

#3
Don't ever assume people are faking it around you. Yes people do that sometimes but can't you just think the best of people around you?! Anyway, only people who fakes it often will ALWAYS think other people are faking it also. So when you ask someone how is he/she doing, take his/her answer as it is and swallow down your inner cry of wanting to say "don't fake it darling." Lol, because, come on, you are the one with the problem.

#4
Accept compliments gracefully, if your parents had been incapable of teaching you how to thank people when people praise you OR you have been temporary deaf when you parents did, let me have the honour of reminding you to say a hearty thank you when people say nice things about you. By "hearty", it means say it with your heart, not saying thank you and having an inner war of how to accept it.

#5
Say sorry ONLY WHEN YOU MEAN IT. And its best that situations when apologies is need to be avoid. NOT generated. And sorry means you sincerely feel inapropriate to have did that something and you admit that it is wrongfully done even if it is for a better cause, emphasizing on the wrongfully done part. NOT the "I said it out of love part." It suck to the max when you say you did it out of love and all other people see if disrespect.

um this is supposed to be longer but most my blog posts doesn't really turn out 100% the way I want them to anyway. I find better pleasure in chatting with my sis now, so more later, if I still feel like it. Ciao ciao, nosy peekers.

last -teen

Yes, it's coming soon. It's great 'cause it will be on a Saturday, so it's a weekend, and it's between my papers, so I can take one day off to celebrate it. The minus point is that the youths won't be around, Pam and the boys will be off to FGA punya camp. And I can't go because; 1. It's between my exams, 2. the last youth camp is supposed to be my last camp, at least until I can get better reasons to convince my parents, 3. I don't really have the spare cash for all the fees considering aunty cancel a month of tuition from me and surely mom and dad won't even pay a cent for it. Crap, I really should get a job with good pay after my exams. Tsk.

Anyway, so they won't be around. Awesome 7 nightstanders will have their heads in books preparing for exam, so it would have to be with my parents. Sometimes they can be real cool, like we went to The Ship on one of my birthdays, mom had one of the snail thing and the whole The Ship crew sang my birthday song. Last year we went for Korean grill, it was not bad 'cause I get to celebrate my birthday with Q che, she's like the coolest aunt anyone would ever want, so yea, it was a nice gathering. Oh and my college mates, those who were in the law class, they sang me a great happy birthday song, and it was really nice 'cause I have only got to know them for like a month then, Shaun was the one who started it. Hee..Thanks guys ^^

Of course there was the birthday celebration at home. Not a big party, we just got together and watch a little movie and had dinner. Mom and dad weren't around, and because it was a CG night so Pam couldn't make it either. The boys came though, and Joon Han and Jack and Seow Jie and Sebrina. I don't think anybody else made it. I remember cooking too much spaghetti, and the nasty subtitles in Shrek 3. I love it still, it was great fun, small crowd but I think we did almost everything that made it real funny. I think I almost laughed my guts out. It was not like any other crappy but funny birthday thing, it's more like double the funny part. Jieli wrote his name with his butt.

This year is the first time my birthday ever clashes with exam period but I don't think I wanna celebrate it on any other day. Birthdays are supposed to be a once-a-year thing, that's what makes them special, no matter how much it sucks, LOL. So far I haven't have any plans up. I kinda should study 1st before trying to make another party that will rock the world, well, at least will rock my world.

Happy Birthday to me,
Happy Birthday to me,
Happy Birthday Dear Eva,
Happy Birthday to me~.

Aw, it sucks, the lyrics don't even rhyme. =="

Alex's love story with Archana

We are in the auditorium now waiting for the class to start and Alex saw Edmund and Lala planning each other's death so he decided to reveal his romantic death which he and his wife, Archana is planning. It was very...erm. Unique.

So here's Alex's story, with random interruption from me, the great story teller.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alex said he's planning a love story death scene beginning from the plot of Titanic, continuing with A Walk To Remember and ending with The Butterfly Lovers 梁祝. It starts with Alex ad Archana going on a cruise . There will be that scene when Archana stands in the front deck of the ship and Alex holding him from behind, and Arhcana saying she thinks she's flying. Then Archana will drop the blue diamond necklace into the ocean when Alex didn't notice and all that. *[But then Eva was very concerned that in the end Alex won't be able to sink into the icy water like Jack did, because Alex kinda had some fat between his skin and muscles. Well, base of the theory that hippos don't sink because they are FAT, so I think that scene will be a lil' hard on Alex's part.]*

Then, thank God for Alex's wit, he decided that it wouldn't go that far so the story will continue with Alex making a telescope for Archana like in A Walk To Remember. The story will be all lovey dovey until Archana finds out that she had leukimia. Alex and Archana then embraces and cry soo soo hard. *[But then Eva suddenly thought of another issue. Due to Alex's extra ordinary body size, he might be blocking too much of the screen and the scene would not be romantic anymore because the audience won't be able to see Archana, who is totally blocked off by Alex.]*

But don't worrry, Alex still has a back up story line. He's going to switch to the ending. Archana suddenly looks like a guy now, with the complete chinese scholar outfit that comes with a hat, a stack of books and the chinese instrument Qin 琴. Alex meets Archana in an old time China school. They soon become friends until one day, Alex and Archana, under unintended circumstances shares a bed. Archana mumbled something in her dreams and Alex thought she need some help taking off something that is on her back. That is when Alex found out that she is using a long cloth to tied up her chest to hide her identity as a woman.

The plot takes a sharp change when Archana was called home by her parents to marry a rich major's son, who is in this case, happen to be Ali. When Alex found out about the engagement he rushed all the way to Archana's hometown to ask for her hand in marriage, but all is too late. Archana's parents forbid them to see each other ever again. Alex's stuborn and undying love only results in getting beaten up by the servants of Archana's father. After that, Alex could scarcely recover from the wounds so he decided to write a love letter for his beloved Archana. While he is writing he got too emotional and vormited blood. He died eventually.

During the day when Arhcana is going marry Ali, the carriage goes about the route to Alex's grave. *[Eva thought the grave must be huge to be able to contain Alex body, and the tombstone won't be any smaller either.]* Then there is this storm that make Archana realize she is near the grave of her fiance. She runs out shouting "Alex, my husband~" , kneeling at the tombstone sobbing her heart out. *[Eva wonders which part of the tombstone, it must be as huge as the Great Wall of China itself.]*

It was then when the tombstone breaks open. *[Eva thanks God it didn't crush poor Archana.]* Archana's tears are washed away by the rain and she jumps into the grave to join her beloved Alex. When all is done, a white light shines out from the grave and two butterflies flew out from the grave. The one which is darker and smaller is the female one, which flew high and away into the skies, while a fair big butterfly is just to huge and heavy to fly. Eva thought she heard Alex's voice calling out to her wife.

Eva

Thus lay the golden sandal..

Being a princess is no easy job...can't say I'm one, but hey, I ain't have a thing to complain about. Got the car, the house, the gadgets. All I'm waiting for is just for the cute prince to come sweep me off my feet unto the white horse and ride into the marvelous sunset.

In the mean time, I guess I'd still have to do some singing in the small hut in the woods, with my fellow cute animals, a couple of sparrows and a chipmunk, maybe a deer and a few rabbits. It's not easy you know, the waiting part. Nuh-uh, growing the hair and singing the same song...lol. Except I don't do any of that.

Okay, this is the real part of my fairy tale.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. I'm eighteen, with quite well-off parents, living in a nice house just slightly away from the buzz of the city.

2. I don't have a chipmunk, but I do have a maid, as tiny as a chipmunk, and as annoying sometimes. Other times, she's great help to me.

3. I don't have any pumpkin-like carriage, but by terms of law, I do have an '96 Audi A4 that can count as a carriage.

4. I have a closet of clothes, not sewn by gifted wild animals, but bought by my parents, my siblings and some by my own salary.

5. I don't go around taking care of dwarfs, cleaning up their hut and arranging 7 beds, but I do teach, a standard 5 kid English and get paid for that.

6. I don't sing "A True Love's Kiss" every morning. But I love singing in church. I'm no opera soprano...more of a guitar person.

7. I don't have soliloque facing the camera, instead I write 'em all down in my blog - which only my friends read.

8. I don't have evil stepmothers or stepsisters, but my parents turn frantic once in a while.

9. When they do, my fairy godmother is always my friends, they're always ready to listen.

10. There's no sad orchestra background music when I cry, only loud pop/rock songs from bands like MCR, Boys like Girls and Dashboard Confessional.

11. The faith in true love's kiss in fairy tales is exactly the type of faith I have for Jesus, my happily ever after.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So if I do sum it all up, I am living in a fairy tale, my fairy tale, would you wanna be a part of it? I caught you peeking a few times, y'know? *winks*

...

=) hmm...i didn't know where to look...the elevator is full of people and you know, so quiet. I mean, well...people jz don't talk in elevators 'cause everybody will be listening to the conversation. And church people are realllyyyy polite. I guess it is best to make other feel impolite and awkward. I was with him the full 20 seconds, all the way - from the top 5th floor down to the basement. So happened that I was standing near the buttons.

Oow...of course it didn't start like that. I actually prayed for the chance, and it did worked, very well in fact. But I couldn't work out the guts to speak a word. And when Eunice came to drag me away, I just went with her, all the way too, to the opposite site. WHY ON EARTH did I do that for?! Even Pam asked me why didn't I go talk to him.

So i guess that was it. All I did was smile and wave goodbye. Before he got on his car and I got on mine. which was just 3 lots away. Argh. I'm sorry...
